Review the legal position before signing
The professional scope should address ownership, relevant encumbrances, permissions and the actual sale terms. The lawyer decides which further enquiries the case requires.
Record what both parties intend
Price, conditions, dates, included items and default provisions need clear drafting. The platform collects the brief; the lawyer prepares or reviews the legal agreement.
Coordinate settlement through the agreed professionals
Payment timing, lender releases and any client-money arrangements belong in the lawyer/bank instructions. Properly does not hold the purchase money.
Prepare the official transfer

Opening a case is free. The fixed-price digital sale package is €3,995 including VAT, paid at the start after suitability, scope and professional engagement are agreed. Opening a case does not collect payment. Any package payment follows the agreed scope and professional engagement.

Give the lawyer a coherent brief: the property and interest being transferred, owners, buyer, proposed price, conditions, inclusions and timetable. Mention known mortgages, missing documents, alterations and disputes at the outset. The right legal assignment depends on those facts.
Ask who the lawyer represents and what checks the quote includes. One professional cannot simply be described as an impartial adviser to both sides regardless of conflicts. If a buyer needs their own legal review, the shared case should accommodate practical coordination without blurring that independence.

The contract, financing and title position determine which documents and payments must be coordinated. Ask who obtains the lender release information, clearances, authority documents and official appointment. Each outstanding item should have an identifiable responsible person.
Ask how payment instructions will be verified and which conditions govern release. Properly does not hold the purchase funds or operate escrow. The platform’s role is to keep the agreed practical work visible while the responsible professionals handle money and legal requirements under their own arrangements.

The €3,995 digital sale package including VAT includes agreed independent lawyer help within its written scope. Confirm the actual professional, represented client, work, fee allocation and exclusions before paying. A separately quoted narrower legal assignment may be appropriate in some cases.
Disputed title, complex finance, litigation, technical investigations, translations and unusual ownership may need more work. Digital coordination can make those requirements easier to see, but it cannot turn a complex matter into a standard one or guarantee a completion date.
Properly is a technology and coordination platform. Independent professionals carry out regulated work under their own appointments. The case lawyer’s client and scope must be clear, and the other party may need separate independent advice. Read the platform role and scope.

Agreed independent lawyer help is part of the intended digital sale package. Confirm the named professional, exact scope and exclusions before payment. A narrower assignment can be quoted separately.
Can the platform clear a mortgage?
No. The lender must confirm release conditions and required payment. A registry record alone does not establish the current payoff amount.
