YOUR SALE, STEP BY STEP
The seller conducts viewings and manages the property presentation. Both parties record questions and proposed terms. The case lawyer works under a separate engagement and confirms the legal stages after the relevant work has been done.
The client and advocate agree the legal assignment directly. Active participation requires an independently checked professional identity and account, a confirmed represented client and an accepted engagement. Until then, the case shows advocate assignment as pending.
Readiness confirmations do not execute a sale contract. An uploaded document is not legally approved. A status change does not move money or register ownership. The lawyer coordinates those actual requirements under the engagement.
Digital communication helps organise the transaction. Certified documents, original signatures, permissions or attendance may still be required.
The case creator completes the initial brief, the seller manages viewings, and both parties confirm readiness for legal review. Only the accepted case lawyer confirms the legal and completion stages.
The creator shares a private, single-use invitation with the intended buyer or seller. It expires after 48 hours. The recipient signs in and accepts before case access is granted. An ordinary case URL does not grant access.
The lawyer’s client and scope must be clear. The shared room does not remove conflicts or replace independent advice for the other party.
No. Email and SMS delivery are not connected. Share the private invitation through a separately agreed channel. Buyer and seller invitations expire after 48 hours, can be used once and require sign-in and acceptance. Contact details entered at registration remain unverified.
Identify the property, owners, available title information and any known mortgage or dispute. Decide who will conduct viewings and whether a buyer has already been found. A short, accurate brief gives the professional enough context to identify the next questions.
Opening the case is a preparation step. It does not authorise a payment or create a lawyer-client relationship. The actual professional identity, represented client, suitability and written engagement must be confirmed before relying on legal work.
A buyer asks whether a parking space belongs to the apartment. The seller supplies the available document, and the lawyer identifies any further evidence and explains the conclusion to the appropriate client. The case can record the request and the next action without claiming the uploaded file is automatically approved.
The same pattern applies to an outstanding lender statement or a proposed contract condition: name the issue, identify responsibility and record what has actually been confirmed. That makes the process clearer than a general update that the sale is progressing.
PLAN YOUR NEXT STEP
Follow a practical eight-stage workflow from the property brief to completion, with clear responsibilities along the way.
Upload the files needed for shared coordination, then keep them attached to the private case rather than buried in separate email threads.
The appointed lawyer joins the buyer and seller in a shared workspace, with their client and professional role made clear.
